Booking procedure
Please contact us with your preferred choice of dates and number of guests, so we can check availability for you. This can be done either by phone, mobile, fax or e-mail.
Having agreed your reservation dates and the price, etc, your provisional booking will be held for 7 days.
After receiving your £60 deposit, your booking will be secured and we will contact you to confirm your booking.
You usually ask for the balance to be paid 4 weeks before your holiday. If any booking is made less than 4 weeks from the commencement date, we ask that the full charge shall be paid prior to the issue of the confirmation.
After we have received the final balance, we will contact you, and issue you with details for key collection, etc.
Terms
All our cottages are thoroughly cleaned between holidays.
As we only have a limited period available to clean the cottages on changeover days, we ask that guests please leave the property and it’s contents clean and tidy.
Thank you.
Arrival days and departures.
We ask that guests please leave the property by 10.00am on the day of their departure. New guests are requested to arrive after 3.00pm.
( It gives us time to clean and get everything just right for our next guests)
We ask that guests undertake to keep the premises and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and also effects in or on the premises, in the same state of repair and condition, as at the commencement of the holiday.
We ask that the number of persons using the holiday property is not to exceed the maximum number stated, when the booking was confirmed/agreed.
We cannot in any circumstances accept responsibility for any loss of life, personal injury, loss, damage or accident to personal property. We strongly recommend that Personal Holiday Insurance is taken out, before your holiday, to cover guests for any unforeseen eventualities.
In the event of any of our properties being removed from our listings, we will endeavour to offer you alternative arrangements, or a refund of all monies paid.
We ask that pets not to be left unattended inside the holiday accommodation, and we would appreciate it if guests do not let their pets on to any furniture, beds or bedding, as it isn’t nice for future guests.
The property owner shall be allowed access to the holiday cottage, at any reasonable time if necessary.
Cancellation
We totally understand that unforeseen circumstances arise and unfortunately guests have to cancel their holiday.
When this occurs we will try and work with our guests to try and aid the process as smoothly as possible.
We very strongly recommend that guests take out cancellation insurance alongside their personal holiday insurance, to give peace of mind and to cover any unforeseen events, etc.
If a guest has to cancel their holiday and we are successful in re-letting the accommodation, we shall refund all the monies paid, ( except the deposit, which is non- refundable)
If we are unable to re-let, then all monies paid, whether by deposit or otherwise, shall be forfeited to us.( we shall be entitled to recover the balance of any monies owed)
If the management of the holiday accommodation feels than the behaviour of the holidaymaker is deemed unacceptable, the owner/management is entitled to ask the holidaymaker to leave the property without any refund of monies.
