| Foss Garth Cottage is a lovely traditional Dales cottage, (formally a lead miners cottage,) it is fully refurbished with modern conveniences and comfort.It is tastefully decorated and very well equipped.
Foss Garth Cottage is full of character with beamed ceilings, thick stone walls, lots of true Dales cottage features and heritage. It has an authentic black leaded Yorkshire Range, with the name Charles Iveson, Hawes, still clearly visible on it. The cottage is lovingly maintained to create a warm, cosy and homely experience for our guests. Foss Garth has 3 bedrooms; 1 Large Double Room, (King-sized bed), with en-suite shower. It also has it’s own Digital TV/DVD player. 1 Twin room, with own Washbasin. 1 very small Single room, with standard single bed, (it’s just the room that is small, not the bed). Main bathroom is situated upstairs, with Bath, Toilet and Washbasin. Downstairs Toilet, and Washbasin is situated in the Utility room. Utility room has a Washing machine and Electric Airer. |

Foss Garth is very warm and cosy with an open fire, (Yorkshire Range), unlimited oil central heating and radiators are throughout the property.
A complimentary starter / welcome fuel pack for the open fire is provided.
Fuel oil and electric are included in the price.
In the lounge, there is a 40inch LED HD digital TV, with Freesat Sky option and DVD player. The cottage has a micro sound system with radio, CD player, docking for iPhone, USB and SD card ports. Foss Garth has free wi fi internet access.
Foss Garth does have a small Kitchen, but it is very well equipped, including Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer and full sized Dishwasher.
For the convenience of our guests , we provide the linen, towels, and tea towels (No extra rentals placed on the price).
Foss Garth has a lovely outside private patio/ flagged garden area, with patio furniture.
The view offers a tranquil setting and looks upon the fields and hills opposite, with the sound of Thwaite waterfall nearby. (A little haven down by Thwaite stream and waterfall.)
Of course, not forgetting Thwaite’s Viking heritage, Foss in Old Norse, means waterfall.
Private off street parking outside the property, in our own car park area.
Pet friendly, max 2 well behaved dogs, by prior arrangement.

All our cottages are professionally cleaned and inspected, prior to your arrival.
Foss Garth cottage is usually let from Saturday to Saturday.
Prices can depend on the season and number of people. Short breaks maybe available, just give us a call.
