West Cottage

East and West Cottages are two delightful traditional stone built Dales cottages situated right next door to each other.Both cottages are lovingly maintained to create a warm, cosy and homely experience for our guests.

They are very comfortable and tastefully decorated, “a real home from home” experience.

West cottage

West Cottage offers a cottage full of Dales character with beamed ceilings and original features, combined with modern convenience and comfort.

Cosy Dales Cottages, sleeping 2/4 people.

It has a large lounge with dining area, polished antiques and a comfy recliner sofa and chairs. A cosy open fire acts as the centre piece for the living area. (Ideal for just relaxing after a long walk.)

A complimentary starter / welcome fuel pack for the open fire is provided.

Heating is also provided by oil central heating with radiators throughout.

Fuel oil and electric included in the price.

The cottage has a very well maintained and fully equipped kitchen, (electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and full size dishwasher, washing machine etc.) and within each Cottage an Electric Airer.

West cottage has Sky freesat TV, with a new digital TV and DVD player and has recently been fitted with Wi-Fi internet access and Radio/CD player with docking for iPhones, USB and SD cards.

Prices are in three bands.
Low, Medium and High Season.

Lettings run from Friday to Friday.
Short breaks are usually available in Low Season.
(Two persons discount usually available).
Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Max of 2 dogs.

Two bedrooms.

1 Double Room, with Washbasin. (Also in the Double Room Digital TV/DVD Player.)

1 Twin Room, (with Washbasin and Shower).

Main Bathroom is upstairs, with Bath, Toilet and Washbasin.

For the convenience of our guests, in West cottage and as with all our cottages, we provide the linen, towels, tea towels. (No extra rentals, added to the price.)

The patio/seating area for West cottage can be found down the stone steps leading from our private off street parking, courtyard area.

Enjoy a tranquil setting down by our seating area next to Thwaite stream and waterfall.

A little haven for East and West cottages.

(You maybe lucky and see some ducks or even trout.)

1 or 2 well behaved dogs by prior arrangement.

Non smoking.

All our properties are professionally cleaned and inspected, prior to your arrival.

West cottage lets are usually from Friday – Friday.

Prices depend upon the season and number of guests. Short breaks maybe available, just give us a call. 2 persons discount is also usually available.
